If you’re looking for actual get your ex back advice, where are you supposed to look? Do you go to friends? Think of the differing pieces of advice you’ll get. Some will tell you to call them and try to be romantic. Others will tell you to ignore and avoid them at all costs. Some will even advise that you try to stalk them or get back AT them! If you’re going through a break up right now, this should be all too familiar for you. You’re confused enough as it is and your friends (even though they are trying to help), are actually making it worse. The single most important piece of advice you’ll get right off the bat is this:

Tell your friends and family to stay out of it.

This goes for anyone, whether you’re trying to get back a girlfriend, boyfriend, husband, or wife. No matter what they do, no matter what capacity they get involved, they will make things worse. It’s as simple as that. If they try to be on your side, whether they’re being really nice about it or rude, they will drive your ex further away by making them feel pressured.

And like I mentioned before, they will only offer conflicting advice. So they’re totally putting off your ex while confusing you. Sound like something you need right now? I didn’t think so.

Now, keep in mind that I’m not telling you to keep secrets from your friends or family. That would hurt you a great deal and you need to get out how you’re feeling. You need to talk about how you feel with people. What you need to do, though, is tell them that you don’t want advice or tips. Tell them that you just need to talk to them and want a shoulder to cry on. They will feel flattered that you want to confide in them, and you won’t get more confused than you already are.

As for actual advice on getting your ex back, that all depends on how far along in the breakup you are. Each situation varies, and it varies even more depending on how long ago it all happened. For example, someone in a breakup from the night before would act very differently than someone with an ex from years ago. Keep that in mind, as it’s very important.

Get Your Ex Back After Cheating

To get your ex back after cheating is not easy. In fact, it may well be one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome in a relationship, save for your ex getting bored of you and leaving you for someone else.

However, just like every other obstacle in relationships, it is possible.

Where can you begin, though? Well, for starters, you will have to do the waiting thing and make some physical changes. I know that’s a drag but that’s how it is. They are necessary steps that cannot be overlooked. It’s really simple why they work, and why they are required. The main point is that you’re giving your ex some time to cool down while ensuring that they really miss you. Keep in mind that unlike other breakup reasons, when a scorned lover breaks up with you they are still in love with you. This is because they haven’t had time to mentally prepare themselves and move on quietly, such as the case when they leave you out of boredom or for someone else (which is why those are the two most dangerous types).

No, you have to take advantage of the fact that they still love you (even underneath the exterior of hating you they put up). By not making contact with them, their anger will die down, and they will start to wonder if they were too harsh. They will start to wonder if they made the right choice. And they will miss you deeply and crave your love.

This is why you change your appearance physically in some positive manner. You want to send across the message that you’ve changed (and their brain will pick this up by your new look), as well as making yourself look better than before. You’re really just building on the fact that they miss you so much and you’ve only gotten better over time. At this point, it’s almost a sure thing that you’ll be back together, but you need to take it slow. You need to let them lead for a while, and when the time comes for them to trust you again, they’ll say it.

Last, please stop cheating. This strategy works well the first time but only gets diluted the more you try it. And besides, you’ll run out of ways to improve yourself over the waiting period.

  1. I need advise, 2 weeks ago my boyfriend and I went out with a mutual friend of ours. I had a couple of drinks and enjoyed my night. Long story short, I was told that I kissed a guy and my boyfriend saw this. I have no recollection of this happening. I was also told by my boyfriend the next day that I was crying in the bathroom and was mad at him for I do not know why. He explained that I left the club ran away from him, eventually returned and kiss a random dude. I am not using alcohol as an excuse, but I truly do not remember any of this happening. I have asked my now ex boyfriend to come witness a polygraph test to prove that I’m not lying but he has refused to talk to me. He blocked me and does not answer any of my call. I’ve known him for six years and we have been together for 10months. I’ve never cheated on him or even thought of it. I have made the biggest mistake of my life and really want him back. But he does not want to talk to me.
