This December, I’ll finally tie the knot with my Peruvian girlfriend and I can’t help but be excited. We have met each other at a foreign marriage agency years ago. We both agreed to have a simple yet culturally-inclined wedding. It might sound funny, but yes, we’ve tossed coins for the country where we would spend our wedding day. She won, thus, our wedding will be in Peru. I’ve researched and I’ve stumbled on few things like despacho, cintas de la torta and la hora loca. Can somebody out there elaborate what these things represent in a Peruvian wedding? Thanks!
