A study on the courting habits of men and women showed that men were far more obvious about their sexual interest than women. Women often under infer to their male interests. Results show that the more attractive a lady is, the more likely a man will over infer his interest. Men who were viewed as highly attractive by women often gauged their looks as being lower than what the women saw them as. Yet the men who had the most confidence were seeking short term mating success.
