‘Staycations’ Over Vacations

Therapist Kate Cassidy on yourtango.com lists five “staycation” alternatives to expensive outings with a romantic partner. Instead of going to a restaurant, couples can cook a meal together using online recipes. The meal can be followed by board games with a sexy theme or massages. If traveling abroad is not in the budget, a couple can use podcasts and other online resources to learn a new language. When any combination of these activities leads to sex, the usual routine can be made more exotic with a new position or toy.
