I thought I would share this story about a violent inmate and prison officer’s love affair in Scotland which was posted on www.scotsman.com. The prisoner in question escaped from his prison cell and police, having gotten the tip that the lovers were in bed at her place, busted down the door, found them both in bed, along with a cache of love letters and notes that had passed from him to her. She’s now on trial for aiding and abetting his escape.
Talk about the power of love letters! She risks her career and liberty all because a guy pours his heart out in a series of love letters. Hmm, somehow I feel she may regret this choice:
