Good morning, Grace. They didn’t have texting when I was dating. Ok, they didn’t have cell phones, but I can tell you that the wait for that phone call was mighty long one. The playing-hard-to-get didn’t work well – at least for me! No call or sign was equivalent to You Don’t Matter. Get those fingers moving, guys!
It is not that true. I guess it depends on the culture. Where I come from, few people text on the day of the date or as the cartoon, an hour later. The etiquette is that if you are interested, to text her towards evening of the following day so that she may reflect on the date and decide whether she wants to continue.
